St. Francis Xavier Cathedral is located on West Street facing West Hill Street.
It is the nearest Catholic Church to the Cruise Ship Port of Nassau.
Getting there is very easy. You can either walk, which takes approximately 10 - 15 minutes, or you can catch a taxi which takes about 5 minutes the most.... if there is no traffic.
To assist in deepening our knowledge of the faith during this Year of Faith, a list of books will be issued. The books will provide beneficial reading for all who wish to learn more about the faith.
We should each set a goal of reading at least one of these books in the course of the year. The Catholic Bookstore will have these books available for sale.
The telephone contact for the Bookstore is 325-6855 and it is opened Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For the safety of all, a barricade has been erected around the former Cathedral for the duration of the repairs. A dumpster has been placed in the area of the parish office for the collection of trash.
